FOZZY frontman Chris Jericho to host Revolver Golden Gods Awards on April 11th

For the third year in a row, FOZZY frontman Chris Jericho will be hosting the Revolver Golden Gods Awards.

Honoring many of the biggest stars in heavy metal and hard rock, the fourth annual awards show will be held at the Club Nokia in Los Angeles on April 11th and, for the first time ever, will be broadcast live via XBOX Live.

The event will host performances from a number of superstar acts including Marilyn Manson, Slash and Evanescence, and will present awards to outstanding musicians in eleven different categories.

FOZZY are currently recording their Century Media Records debut, which is slated for a summer 2012 release. Drum tracking for the album has been completed at Tree Sound Studios in Atlanta, GA - FOZZY guitarist Rich Ward is producing the record, and will be engineering the album with Shawn Grove [FOZZY, Sevendust, Elton John, Collective Soul].

"Based on the songs and the early demos, my gut feeling is that when this album is completed, it will be the best overall album that I have been a part of," says Ward.
