Amanda Mair releases debut album (Labrador Records) on June 5th
Swedish recording artist/pianist Amanda Mair signed to Labrador Records at age 15 before she even had a myspace/facebook page - or had performed live.
Amanda has since been voted "2012's Big Breakthrough" by the Swedish Music Industry, her s/t debut album debuted at #16 on the Swedish Charts and her first music video reached 30,000 YouTube views before she had 500 Facebook likes (it's now over 50,000 views strong).
The record is produced by Philip Ekström of The Mary Onettes and written with Johan Angerard (Club 8, Acid House Kings) and has been receiving media accolades far and wide, from Nylon, MTV, Elle, Marie Claire, Seventeen, Brooklyn Vegan, Pop Justice, The Guardian, NME, and much, much more.
