The video for Lemar's new single "The First Time" is released next week! He recently bumped into Amal Fashanu, hit it off and she features in the new video.
Lemar and Amal met at a Spurs match a few weeks ago. He had seen her recent TV work and was really impressed. She said that she'd always been a fan and loved his new stuff. He was talking about recording the video for the new single this week and Amal asked if she could be part of it. Amal can be seen in Lemar's new video which the guys shot this week.

More info about Lemar's new album and single:
Multi-BRIT and MOBO Award winner Lemar is back and better than ever with the release of album 'Invincible', and new single "The First Time", set to be released on 7th October 2012 and physical on 8th October.
Second single from the album "The First Time" is expected to achieve more of the same success enjoyed by title track "Invincible", which gained major support across the board on radio and TV - riding high on BBC Radio 2's A list and soundtracking BBC Olympics coverage as well as the Sky Sports Summer promo.
Lemar's unmistakeable soulful voice and incredible talent for songwriting has enabled him to sustain a decade long career which has racked up an incredible seven Top 10 singles, over two million album sales and has taken him across the globe with heavyweights Justin Timberlake, Usher, Beyonce and Mary J Blige.
Confident in his ability to deliver after years spent honing his craft to perfection, 'Invincible', his sixth album, sees Lemar become his own boss, taking control of his sound. Free of the five album Sony deal which kickstarted his career on the back of outstanding performances on Fame Academy, he's enjoyed putting together a talented team of creatives to produce the record. He says "Because I've been in the industry for quite a few years now, I know how to make music I love. I'm at the point where I strongly feel that this is really good - I think there's some great music on this album."
Lemar has immersed himself in the production process, indulging his creative side like never before. He says, "I wanted to make this album about the 'why' I want to do music, not 'who' I'm doing it for, and this is the most natural way I can get it to my fans for them to hear. I feel really comfortable here, it's more of a singer/songwriter vibe and it's me in its entirety."
'Invincible' showcases a maturity and depth to the 34 year old's work that takes a new direction to previous releases while staying true to his natural artistic instincts.
"I've realised who I am and where I am. Taking a break has allowed me to rediscover me and I've loved being able to communicate this in my music. This record is a natural evolution, anyone that has listened to me over the last ten years has grown with me and is probably at the same stage in their lives/relationships,... they've evolved with me. We've evolved and this is where we are."
With this album Lemar is well and truly back, and playing to the beat of his own drum, the resulting work is a landmark in the talented individual's career.
