Christina Aguilera premieres "Your Body" video

Global superstar Christina Aguilera will be premiering the video for her new single "Your Body" across VEVO, the world's leading all-premium music video and entertainment platform, as well at various MTV properties today. "Your Body" is the first single off Aguilera's upcoming album Lotus which will be released on November 13, 2012 through RCA Records.

At 12pm EST today the video will premiere across VEVO and be broadcast simultaneously on mtvU, MTV Hits, Logo and will also appear online on MTV, VH1 and Logotv. Additionally the video will debut on VH1's Top 20 Countdown on Saturday, September 29th.

On Wednesday a 30 second clip of the video premiered on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live and yesterday that 30 second clip was made available on VEVO. Earlier this month the first exclusive sneak peak of the video premiered on NBC's The Voice.

Filmed over 2 days on location in and around Los Angeles with award-winning director, Melina Matsoukas, the video takes an unexpected and whimsical approach to the song. The imagery is fun, colorful and campy with a bold twist one would expect from this highly visual artist.

Aguilera says, "I really had fun shooting this video and getting into the characters that Melina created. There are little vignettes that tell a playful and tongue and cheek story. Nothing in this video should be taken literally from the scenarios, to the colors to the wardrobe….and that’s what made it so much fun."
