i think that is a really good list of songs.. yes the classics arnt there but were they in the top 100 ? exactly ! obvs the old ones were amazing but there time has been and its time for the newest guys to come on through and we all need to accept that otherwise there wont be any more new music

I can't believe that MCR is at #4, and that Fall Out Boy made is #8. They are two of the greatest new bands out there right now, and am soo proud that they made it!!!

theres no way you can call you me at six or paramore rock, and the rest of it is pretty much pathetic, predictable drivel
where's metallica, rage against the machine, slipknot, faith no more, korn, pantera? bands who have truly made an impact and had a major influence on the rock scene as we know it.
Can hardly say i'm surprised though. Rock music, as it should be, is becoming a distant memory held on to by true rock fans, and this proves it.
All the old ones came around the 70-50's really i still think rooftops should have been in the top 10 it's awesome

It just seems like this is the voice of Fad-driven teenage idiots who wouldn't know music if it hit them in the face.

And to actually believe some of these videos deserve a place ANYWHERE in the top 100 is ludicrous, Youmeatsix are generic toss, breaking the habit is a lot better video for Linkin Park by far and a better song. MCR although they hold musical skill the video was pathetic, other than the general message of emotional fanatic death those were just chances for Gerard to practically gyrate over his own voice!
Fall Out Boy's attempt at classic MJ parody was just epic fail and Paramores' videos just GRAR me up so bad with their typical teen romance attitude angle that means jack shit in terms of reality.
Seriously out of it all the only videos with actual quality were the 30stm choices and in all honesty there should only have been 1, not to say ones better than the other but top 10 positions should be for 10 bands not Pop culture choices raiding 2 each!

I just watched this top 100 and there were about 5 decent songs in the whole damn bunch. I could cry, I've just wasted about 7 hours of my life. Was it just 12 year old girls who voted for them?

i'm not a big fan of the old classics like guns n roses etc. but to be honest i am so surprised they are not in the top 10. it's obvious that a bunch of tweens voted (that's a bit hypocritical as i am 16. but still)

GREEN DAY!!!! well green day should be the first! that video is awesome and epic!!...i don't really like 30stm they can't have the 2 first positions....linkin park is good, that video is very good, i like paramore but those videos are not the best, i think they put the last videos only because there are so many other great videos before this...like foo fighters, blink 182, others from green day, etc, but is not bad
