In preparation for the milestone album, Snoop will be performing his newest single, "I Wanna Rock," on Fox's hit show So You Think You Can Dance tonight (December 2nd).
Watch "I Wanna Rock" video:
As a follow up to the first single, "Gangsta Luv," featuring The Dream, Snoop chose "I Wanna Rock" - a clever re-working of the classic Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock's "It Takes Two" produced by Scoop Deville.
The bouncy and infectious song is sure to lend itself to the latest "jerk movement" craze. Just released to mixshow last week, the song has gotten a tremendous amount of support and is generating a huge buzz.
The accompanying video, directed by Eric Peyton, features guest appearances by Jamie Foxx and showcases incredible dance sequences from MTV's 2009 America's Best Dance Crew winners, Quest Crew, Power Rangers and the Snoopettes.
The appearance on So You Think You Can Dance will mimic the video, with all starring dancers on stage with Snoop to create an energetic and unforgettable performance.
Snoop has also announced performances on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Last Call with Carson Daly, The Wendy Williams Show, One Life to Live and The Colbert Report as well as appearances on Larry King, The View, The Martha Stewart Show and The Wanda Sykes Show.
Additionally, Snoop is the ESPN Artist of the Month in December. Throughout the month of December, songs from Malice N Wonderland will be featured throughout ESPN's programming.
The forthcoming album title provides interesting results as the intersection of "malice" and "wonder" combines for an exciting listen.
"When I started to put together this record I had a lot of malice in my heart-just focusing on making hardcore gangsta music," explains Snoop. "But then my mood lightened and I wanted to make some music that just felt good...to me and to the ladies."
Producers who collaborated on Malice N Wonderland include hitmakers Teddy Riley, Pharrell, Lil Jon, among others along with guest appearances by artists such as R Kelly, Brandy, Jazmine Sullivan and Soulja Boy.
