The duo took New York City by storm last week at the annual CMJ conference. Not only were they listed as one of Paste.com's "One's to Watch," they were featured in Black Book's online portrait gallery as one of the Top 28 bands of CMJ.
The two Floridians who are currently calling Philadelphia home couldn't be happier with the reception that their music is receiving.
A modern classic, the record pays homage to the songsmiths of the 70's. Tastemakers such as XM/Sirius Radio's Vin Scelsa, WFUV's John Platt and WXPN have been playing the disc to great reaction. The Animal Groom has been added to the playlists of 39 stations and in its 2nd week at radio, it's currently ranked at #111 on the AMA charts.
Along with being a talented musician, Wolff Bowden is a also a self-taught painter recently been named Artist of the Millennium by ARTEXPO MIAMI. The cover of The Animal Groom is one of his paintings.
