Luke Rathborne releases debut split EP - listen to tracks

On March 8, 2011, Luke Rathborne will be releasing his debut split EP album, I Can Be One EP / Dog Years EP.

Luke Rathborne

The material from the I Can Be One EP was penned following Luke's move to New York City after high school and was completed with members of Antony and the Johnsons contributing to the arrangements.

The Dog Years EP embraces Luke's more pop-aesthetic - not shiny, happy pop, but effervescent, melancholic pop. Rather than muddling his music's disparate take on the world around him, attempting to intertwine songs written under different circumstances and in different frames of mind, Rathborne decided to offer audiences his ideal window into his headscpe - two EPs, each unique in their own right, as one album.

Listen to Dog Years EP:

Luke (only 22 years old) has already received love from The L Magazine, Interview, The Deli, The Village Voice, and just today was featured by both NME and the BBC!
