London-born rapper Tinie Tempah, already a double BRIT Award-winning U.K. superstar with 2010's top-selling debut album by a British artist, goes global with the U.S. release of his album Disc-Overy on May 17.

Tinie's U.S. debut album, Disc-Overy, on its way to being a certified double-platinum record in the U.K, has spawned four Top 5 U.K. singles including two number ones, will be released stateside on May 17, 2011 with the addition of new songs recorded in the U.S. earlier this year.
The busy performer, who Rolling Stone recently featured in their Hot List issue putting both fans and the industry on notification, affirming Tinie Tempah is "poised to become the first MC from the U.K.'s raucous "grime" scene to climb the U.S. pop charts," has been in the studio with producers Stargate (Wiz Khalifa, Beyonce, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Ne-Yo) and Boi 1Da (Eminem, Drake) and will be adding these hotly anticipated new tracks to the U.S. release of his stellar opus. The album's second American single, "Til I'm Gone," features Wiz Khalifa. "Til I'm Gone" features a gripping chorus and riveting verbal interplay between Tinie and Wiz that exemplifies the tenacious attitude that's endeared Tinie to his fans.
Stargate produced another new track on the album, the emotion-charged "Love Suicide," a sonically inventive, lyrically expressive effort featuring distinctive vocals by special guest Esther Dean. The third new track, "So Addicted," produced by Boi 1Da and featuring Bei Maejor, boasts an infectious chorus and Tinie's signature wordplay.

After making his U.S. television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live back in February, Tinie will return to the national spotlight with appearances on Late Show with David Letterman on May 17th and Conan on May 26th where he will perform his radio smash, "Written in the Stars."
The track is currently number fifteen and climbing on the U.S. Top 40 chart according to BDS and number nine on the Top Pop Songs iTunes chart.
"Written In The Stars" hailed by Entertainment Weekly as one of the "next big hits of 2011" is currently the highest ranking song in the Top 15 by a new artist.
