Guillemots Headline Bandstand Busking stage at Ray Davies Meltdown Festival!


Saturday 18th June 1pm-5pm at The Festival of Britain Bandstand, Royal Festival Hall

Bandstand Busking is all set to return to take part in Meltdown Festival for the second year running, with Guillemots headlining.

The bandstand Busking team have said: "This year we are very excited to bring you the extremely talented Guillemots to headline the bandstand stage, with more exciting acts to be announced; this free event is certainly not one to miss."

Guillemots release their next single "I Must Be A Lover" July 3, 2011, taken from their critically acclaimed third album 'Walk The River'.

Since founding in 2008, Bandstand Busking have been bringing bands from all over the world to play in London's parks. From Wild Beasts and Micachu, Black Lips and Vivian Girls, of Montreal and Fanfarlo, to Caitlin Rose and Emmy The Great.

All past performances are available to view on the Bandstand Busking website including a selection from last year's Meltdown festival.
