The Barclaycard Mercury Prize Awards Show is being held Tuesday, 6 September 2011 in London.
The event will feature performances by all of this year's shortlisted artists and will culminate in the announcement of the overall winner of the 2011 Barclaycard Mercury Prize for Album of the Year.

It is the first time that all shortlisted bands and artists will perform at the Awards Show, with many making special arrangements to travel to the UK in order to play at the event.
The BBC will be providing extensive multiplatform coverage of this year's Awards Show across television, radio, online and via the Red Button.
There will be live coverage on the night of the event on BBC Two and BBC HD from 10.00pm. BBC Radio 6 Music will also be broadcasting live from the venue from 8.00pm.
For the first time there will be additional coverage of all live performances available on the BBC HD channel from 10.30pm and on the Red Button for the next 7 days (times may vary).
Lauren Laverne will host the BBC television coverage of the event, with Jools Holland hosting the Awards Show itself.
6 Music's radio coverage will be presented by Steve Lamacq.

Music fans will be able to access all the news from the Awards Show through the Prize's social media platforms, with behind-the-scenes updates and videos being posted regularly on Facebook in the run-up to the event itself - facebook.com/mercuryprize.
