You Me At Six to release Sinners Never Sleep January 2012 + tour w/ Mayday Parade [Video]

Kerrang! award winners for Best British Band, You Me At Six cement their status as leading lights on the contemporary U.K. rock scene with the release of their chart topping U.K. album Sinners Never Sleep on January 24th, 2012 in the U.S. on Virgin Records.

Sinners Never Sleep was just released in the U.K. earlier this month and debuted at #3 on the album charts. This certified hit album follows the band's U.K. 2010 Top 5 hit album 'Hold Me Down'.

Produced by Garth Richardson (Biffy Clyro, Rage Against The Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers) and recorded at the famous Sound Factory studio in Los Angeles, Sinners Never Sleep sees You Me At Six exploring their most mature sound to date extending the band's scope wider than ever before.

Bring Me The Horizon's Oli Sykes guests on the dark anthem "Bite My Tongue", while Parkway Drive vocalist Winston McCall contributes to the growling intensity of "Time Is Money". The hook-infused melodies of "Jaws On The Floor" and "Reckless" are offset by the more introspective "No One Does It Better", "Crash" and "When We Were Younger".

Kerrang! calls Sinners Never Sleep "…the best album You Me At Six have made" and declare the band to be "Britain's best pop-punk" while remarking that the "…band return older, wiser and deeper." on this new album. The first video from Sinners Never Sleep is from the album's opening track and statement of intent "LOVERBOY" which NME.com describe as "A big bouncy riff, super hummable chorus and those amazing catchy bridges that You Me At Six do so well are all on display here." Since the release of 'Hold Me Down', You Me At Six have enjoyed a rush of landmark events. First was the 2010 Kerrang! Awards where they won 'Best Single', which was soon followed by their main stage debut at the Reading and Leeds festivals.

You Me At Six were also recently named as Future Flames Ambassadors by Coca-Cola, a Presenting Partner of the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay, and will help to find inspiring young people to carry the Olympic Flame next year.
