On May 7th (digital)/May 21st (physical), ex-Lovvers frontman Shaun Hencher will release an EP for his new project called Virals.
The band have teamed up with acclaimed London-based label, Tough Love (Weird Dreams, Girls Names, Male Bonding) to release the 4-song outing entitled, Coming Up With The Sun.
Virals first release arrived in February 2012, a two-track 7" on Sexbeat (Fresh & Onlys, White Fence).
In April, the infectious power pop title track, "Coming Up With The Sun" was tipped as a 'New Band of the Day' by the Guardian and spun by both Huw Stephens at Radio 1 and John Kennedy at XFM. "Gloria" is a three-minute gem bedded in the middle of the record that shines through with an insanely hooky vocal and charged guitar riffs, taking cues from the sunny California coast yet retaining a suitably English feel.
Coming Up With The Sun, out via Tough Love (May 7th - digital, May 21 - physical) will be available on limited edition 12" red vinyl and digital download.
