JEFF The Brotherhood

Nashville-based super-rock duo JEFF The Brotherhood have confirmed tours of Europe and the U.S. in support of their Warner Bros. Records debut album Hypnotic Nights, which was released July 17th.

Brothers Jake (guitars, vocals) and Jamin Orrall (drums), owners/operators of their own infinitely cool Infinity Cat Recordings, have been rocking the globe relentlessly for the past few years and have garnered high praise for their latest album, which they co-produced with Dan Auerbach. Be sure to view their on-camera featurette below for an even greater insight into the making of Hypnotic Nights.

Hypnotic Nights, featuring the single Sixpack, is currently #2 with a bullet on the CMJ Album Chart.

JEFF the Brotherhood - Sixpack video:

The past month since the album's release has been a whirlwind of activity that began with the band's first appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman on the day of the album's release and ended August 4th in Chicago at the annual Lollapalooza Festival where JEFF drew thousands to their performance despite unruly weather.

Just prior to JEFF's upcoming Euro tour, they joined the Gentlemen Of The Road Festival hosted by Mumford & Sons who has this to say about JEFF:

"JEFF The Brotherhood are the greatest family band of all time. The Carter Family have passed the baton. It's official. This duo are going to punk all over your face. We have wanted to see this band for a long time and we are so chuffed we get to play with them. If punk is a genre then it is collection of bands and people with the same mantra; we do what we want. JEFF are the torch-bearers." - Mumford & Sons

Be sure to catch JEFF The Brotherhood at home and abroad this summer and fall.

"There are two songs on the new JEFF the Brotherhood album with the word 'hypnotic' in the title. It's truth in advertising." - Rolling Stone

"Hypnotic Nights is more even and settled than anything the band has done: better arranged, better constructed, better mixed, more precise in the details. And it has a certain power, in the way that any music heavily practiced and felt in the bones often does, perhaps even more so from a family band." - The New York Times

"JEFF the Brotherhood may be a two-piece band, but they ratchet up quite a raucous sound, thanks to the brothers Orralls' anthemic rock...simmering and soaring riffs and fiery drums." - USA Today
