Thirty Seconds To Mars new single "Up In The Air" will be launched into space on March 1st. The band members will be in Florida to watch the launch of the second SpaceX cargo mission to the International Space Station.
The video was directed by Eric Heimbold and is dedicated to Larry Perry, a young disabled man who (legend has it) was sent unwillingly into space by NASA in the '60s. The video features footage of the band and Larry during various point of his life from childhood to adult as well as archived footage from NASA.
Grammy-winning guitarist and songwriter Peter Frampton spoke via video chat with NASA astronaut Ron Garan from the International Space Station on August 5 at the Warfield Theater in San Francisco.
