(Wilmington, N.C) - Wilmington, North Carolina rock band The Majestic Twelve recently re-entered the studio to begin work on their third album, set to be released late next year.
"We have no idea what this record will sound like when we're done," comments frontman Kenyata Sullivan, "but that's the beauty of it, you know? Plus, I can fit over 11,000 Tic Tacs in my underpants at any given moment. I know, I did it once already. And that's power, baby."
The band is working as usual with longtime collaborator Jerry Kee (Superchunk, Ryan Adams, Polvo).
"We're just gonna keep working hard and trying not to suck," continues Sullivan.
The Majestic Twelve have been garnering great reviews at Blender.com, Maxim.com, MSNBC.com, etc, etc, etc. It's nuts!
The Majestic Twelve's sophomore record and underground hit,
Schizophrenology has been downloaded over 12,000 times since releasing independently for free in July (probably much more than that, they keep forgetting to ask their webguy), and charted nationally – out of the blue - on college radio for more than two months.
If you haven't yet already, download it for free at
