Second Dan to share the stage with Minnie Driver at The Living Room in NYC

Second Dan, a group of rockin' newcomers from down under, will play an acoustic set at The Living Room in New York on April 28th. The Living Room is located at 154 Ludlow Street. The band will perform at 8 PM. Sharing the stage that night will be Hollywood actress and Rounder Records artist Minnie Driver, Emmy-award winning composer Randy Lee and California's Jukebox Junkies.

The Living Room set will be a great opportunity to see the band in a stripped down setting – where their musicianship and songwriting comes to the fore.

It was only a while back that Second Dan gained national visibility in Australia when their debut EP 'Running Out of Feelings' achieved award-winning airplay on Triple J’s "Unearthed" a known rocket boom for a number of Australian acts such as the Grates, Silverchair and Jet. 'Running Out of Feelings,' along with the follow-up single, "Everything Is Good" were both in heavy rotation for over two months with regular National radio play. The band toured the country on festival bills with The White Stripes, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and The Vines.

The band spent the past year in NYC plotting steps toward breaking the world's biggest music market. They returned to the studio to record their first full-length album, 'Bringing Down Goliath'. They also built a passionate following in the region as the live stage is Second Dan's first home. They have been regularly playing headlining shows at Mercury Lounge and Arlene's Grocery along with supporting bills at venues like Irving Plaza.
