Brooklyn songwriter Ben Godwin kick starts his month long residency at NYC's Sidewalk Cafe, home to the Antifolk scene, tonight with "Antifolk Covers Night." He will be playing a set drawn entirely from the work of other songwriters on the Antifolk scene in NYC.
Ben Godwin's schedule for the rest of the month is as follows:
6/13/07 - PETA Benefit Night- featuring a full lineup of vegetarian and vegan musicians. All proceeds will be donated to support PETA's campaigns to improve the lives and deaths of animals on factory farms. The evening will feature performances from John Houx, Brownbird Rudy Relic, Joy Askew and Dan Asselin.
6/20/07 - Band Night – reuniting the full lineup from Ben's debut album, 'Skin and Bone.'
6/27/07 - Guest Night – Ben will be joined by an all-star lineup of Antifolk artists to close out the month.
