Former Factory Records artist, Kevin Hewick is to release his lost 2003 album 'Doomcloud' free of charge.
The entire album will be available as exclusive free downloads from his kevinhewick.co.uk website.
The downloads will available from February 14, 2009 (as a kind-of antidote to Valentines Day). Hewick describes 'Doomcloud' as "My dogme album. Very bare, very honest." It features raw recordings made between 2000 and 2003 with Robbie Murphy at Woodland Studios in Leicester.
Hewick recently played European dates with fellow ex-Factory act Section 25 and Joy Division/New Order bassist Peter Hook.

Wow. Free? A brand new album by an amazing singer-songwriter? Even Radiohead didn't give In Rainbows away for free!! Good on you Kevin. Hope you make some money somehow along the way. This is beautiful music that deserves to be heard and rewarded.
