MySpace Music announces “Beyond the Sound” concert ft J. Holiday – Atlanta, GA

MySpace Music is proud to announce the “Beyond the Sound” concert featuring J. Holiday in Atlanta, GA, on Thursday, April 9, 2009.

The R&B sensation will be performing a free show for his MySpace Music friends to celebrate the release of his new album, ‘Round 2′.

Doors open for the all-ages show at 8:00 p.m. Admittance will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis.

As a special addition, DJ Rasta Root and DJ Knuckles will be opening the show.

“Beyond the Sound” is a new music program bringing MySpace DJs and producers across the country together to perform alongside buzzworthy artist, giving fans an in-depth look into their sound via intimate live show and video interviews. The J-Holiday “Beyond the Sound” show is being powered by Coca-Cola.

Grammy-nominated J. Holiday’s new album ‘Round 2′ features hit single, “It’s Yours,” and is the follow-up offering to the award-winning album ‘Back of My Lac.’

“It’s been an amazing year, and I’m proud of what we’ve accomplished,” J. Holiday reflects. “You always balance your hopes about what the fans will appreciate versus the reality that it might not work out.”

By accomplishments, he means: consecutive back-to-back #1 R&B singles “Bed” and “Suffocate;” utterlyusurping of BET’s 106 & Park; his album ‘Back of my ‘Lac’ debuting #1 on the R&B chart and selling nearly 800,000 copies; BET and American Music Award nominations for Best Male R&B Artist.
