Melody Gardot

Leading the way by several streets in the current Jazz Album charts is the creamy-voiced Philadelphian singer-songwriter Melody Gardot, with her second album ‘My One And Only Thrill’.

The opening track of that irresistible collection is soon to be released as a single.

Watch “Baby I’m A Fool” video:

“Baby I’m A Fool” is in many ways a miniature showcase for what makes Melody such a unique talent. To lush strings and guitar accompaniment she ravishes the ear with her wistful lyric about falling in love and her gentle scat.

As the Daily Telegraph said in reviewing the album, Melody “has a timelessness made contemporary by sheer emotional weight … filled with lingering eroticism … Irresistible” *****

“Baby I’m a Fool” single is released in the UK 18th May 2009.

Amazing album. I am really impressed. I feel like its the soundtrack to my life. Lyrically Musically Vocally she has surpassed all of my expectations. Our Love is Easy is my favorite track.
