Orange Rhyme Pictures has released the music video for the song "Baby" from James Lanman’s debut album 'Asphalt Roads'.
Starring James Lanman, Reese Flener and Internet celebrity iJustine (Justine Ezarik), the song tells the tale of a Hollywood socialite as she terrorizes the inhabitants of a premier Hollywood nightclub.
Parody or poetry? You decide. "Baby" is a commentary on the obsessions and fascinations with the girl everyone loves to hate and the train wreck you can’t stop watching. She doesn’t like being a bitch, it’s just her full time job!
Filmed on a low budget with more heart than resources, it brings to mind a sense of nostalgia, like the music videos that graced the small screen during the golden age of MTV in the 80’s and 90’s.
Shot in HD at Cinespace in Hollywood, CA, the film is directed by Yale University filmmaker Max Lanman on a grant awarded for his outstanding achievements in film.
James Lanman is an indie rock musician and singer/songwriter currently operating out of Los Angeles.
