Brainlove Records - Iceland Airwaves

- Mat Riviere, Napoleon IIIrd and Stairs To Korea join official Airwaves lineup

– Improv projects Braindead Collective and Thee Oracle join the party

Brainlove Records is über-excited to announce a pair of shows in Reykjavik this October as part of the 2009 Iceland Airwaves festival.

Firstly, we’re taking over our favourite new bar Karamba, to be found at Laugavegur 22, for a mini Brainlove Festival / Airwaves Off-Venue party. From 2pm-8pm on Friday 16th October, 2009, there’ll be live shows from UK-based Brainlove acts Mat Riviere, Napoleon IIIrd and Stairs To Korea, Iceland-based Brainlove acts Kippi Kaninus and Æla, and improvised, participatory performances from Thee Oracle and Braindead Collective, with DJ sets from John Brainlove and Oli Dreamtrak.

Then on Saturday 17th, Mat Riviere, Napoleon IIIrd and Stairs To Korea will play slots at Hresso as part of the official Airwaves lineup, with a complete bill of Icelandic and international artists to be announced soon.

You can hear all of the BRNLV bands mentioned at Brainlove Records MySpace and you can click through our top friends to find out more on each artist.

Further details we’ll post at the Facebook event
