Inspired by the likes of Joni Mitchell, Caetano Veloso, Mercedes Sosa, Marisa Monte, and Chick Corea, this trilingual singer and bandleader brings new energy to this timeless and passionate tradition.

A 2005 Billboard Award winning songwriter, and a winner of two 2007 Latin Jazz Awards (Best Vocalist and Next Generation), Mari Rosa has performed across the United States from California to New York, and Maine to Miami.

She has been featured on radio and television programs in several major US markets, and has recorded, performed, and collaborated with Scott Healy (Max Weinburg Seven), Richie Morales (Spyro Gyra), Kermit Driscoll (Bill Frisell), Harvie S, Don Friedman, and Cuban music legend, Cachao, among others.

John Matouk of About.com says, "Vocalist Mari Rosa is an enchanting young performer with a pitch-perfect voice, a passion for Brasil, and a talent for writing songs that are eccentric and irresistible." Come see why...
