The Old Romantic Killer Band Release their 4 track killer EP November 2nd

Formed in early 2008, the Leeds based blues-rock duo The Old Romantic Killer Band release four brand new killer tracks, and are getting ready to support the much loved but 'secret' new band from SUPERGRASSS - THE HOT RATS - on their first UK tour.

The duo, made up of Harry (vox and guitar) and Greg (drums), have gone from strength to strength in their short time as a band and have also made a massive impact on the music scene with their live shows, having a reputation for being chaotic and usually end in impromptu jams and equipment smashing.

With a growing audience, constant touring up and down the UK playing everywhere from private launch parties, the famous music scene around Camden and Shoreditch, the duo found themselves playing this year's legendary Leeds and Reading Festivals on the BBC Introducing Stages.

Supergrass frontman Gaz Coombes approached the band late September and asked the boys to join them on three dates of their UK tour for new band The Hot Rats (12-15 October 2009).

Their 3rd ever gig was playing to a packed audience at their 2008 showcase ‘In The City’ and since joining the CODA AGENCY early 2009 they have supported and toured with the likes of The Sunshine Underground and Dinosaur Pile-Up as well as having completed two UK headline tours.

After releasing their 2009 debut album 'The Swan With Two Necks' featuring the single "Lovers Pass" to critical acclaim they received ‘Record of the Week’ in Clash Magazine, 7/10 from NME plus a full page feature in The Guardian and have also had music featured in BBC3's show 'Massive' starring Ralf Little.

They have had great support from BBC Radio One's Huw Stephens and Steve Lamacq who have both played tracks on their shows and have also had several plays on the new BBC Radio 6 show hosted by Supergrass' very own Gaz Coombes and Danny Goffey.

The Old Romatic Killer band is definitely a band not to be missed.
