Two New 'Hustler's Son' Tracks Streaming at MySpace

Jason Boesel has unveiled two new cuts from his forthcoming solo debut, 'Hustler's Son', out January 12, 2010 on Team Love Records: "French Kissing" and "Miracles."

Though "French Kissing" and "Miracles" are two wildly different songs, each showcases Jason Boesel's talents as a writer/performer of potent choruses and goosebump-inducing bridges, and as a producer of lush and cinematic arrangements.

"French Kissing" features Blake Mills (Band of Horses, Julian Casablancas) on guitar, Nik Freitas (Mystic Valley Band) contributing keys and supporting vocals, and 'Hustler's Son' co-producer Jonathan Wilson on bass.

"Miracles" features guest Benmont Tench (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers) on piano, Blake Mills on guitar, and Jonathan Wilson adding bass and supporting vocals.

Boesel sings and plays drums and guitar on both songs.

Last week, the national music blogosphere aggregator Elbo.ws charted "Hand Of God" from 'Hustler's Son' as one of the Top Ten most posted songs.

For the last 15 years, LA-based drummer Jason Boesel has been planted firmly behind the kit, keeping time for the likes of Rilo Kiley, Bright Eyes, The Elected, and more recently, Conor Oberst and The Mystic Valley Band. Boesel was inspired to pick up the guitar and write his own record after his friends raved about the first song he ever wrote: ‘Hustler’s Son.’ Now, a few studio sessions later, Jason Boesel announces his solo debut for Team Love Records: ‘Hustler’s Son,’ out January 12, 2010.
