Unlike his ex- Rolling Stones buddies, Mick Taylor never associated fame with talent nor celebrity with artistic merit.
His aristocratic attitude and manners obscured the fact that he was the only authentic working class guitar hero of the bunch - largely responsible for the unmistakable Stones' rugged musical elegance.

I can't count how many times I played along with Mick with my old Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out and Sticky Fingers LPs and my 70's Strat. It's great to see him performing - he truly is a sublime guitarist. He never went over the top and always added just enough raunch to light an eternal flame to the Stones repertoire.
