Laura Marling announces US "Working Holiday Tour" [Video]

BRIT Award winner Laura Marling is choosing some roads less travelled this Fall as she brings herself to some far flung venues on a special solo tour she's calling the "Working Holiday Tour".

Kicking off in Seattle on September 27, 2012, Laura's great American road trip will see her debut performance in, amongst others, Big Sur CA, Mobile AL, Gainesville FL, Savannah GA, and Woodstock NY.

With two much lauded US tours under her belt already this year - including enthralling performances at Coachella and Bonnaroo - Marling is digging a little deeper into America. Don't miss this chance to see her in an intimate setting!

Marling's third and most recent album, A Creature I Don't Know (Ribbon Music), has garnered the most enthusiastic reviews of her career but it is in performance that Marling shines brightest as a captivating performer and storyteller.

Watch Laura perform for NPR's "Tiny Desk Concert Series" - video:

"Laura Marling is a 21-year-old British singer/songwriter who is not only wiser than her years - she's wiser than MY years...If you are old enough, you will hear echoes of Joni Mitchell, Sandy Denny and Leonard Cohen. If you are young, you will hear the voice of a new generation coming into its own." - CBS Sunday Morning's Bill Flanagan
