This Sunday, May 2, 2010, 15 sand artists will create an enormous beach sculpture 900 metres wide and 90 metres deep on Filey Beach in North York. The local council have given the project their blessing and will also help organise a giant clean up.
This award winning team of artists has been put together by Sandinyoureye and will be directed by team leader Jamie Wardley.
This is the same top notch team who have crafted acclaimed sand sculptures and drawings for Sky Sports, London Zoo, TATE Liverpool and the National Marine Aquarium.

To capture this historical moment, a distinguished team of land and aerial photographers (by helicopter) from the British Institute of Professional Photographers, Master Photographers Association and the Royal Photographic Society, will be on hand to document this achievement.
Jack Johnson has sold 18 million records and recorded his new one, 'To The Sea', in his native Hawaii using 100% solar power.
The album is released May 31, 2010 on Island.
