Kasabian prepare for what will undoubtedly be a triumphant headline slot at V2010 with a show at the O2 Academy Brixton on August 19, 2010.

The date follows their headline set at T In The Park this month and rounds off an immensely successful 18 months in which they hit No. 1 with their third album 'West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum' and scooped a plethora of awards including the Brit for Best British Group, the Q and NME awards for Best Album and most recently the Mojo Song Of The Year award for "Fire", where they also presented Jimmy Page with his MOJO Hall Of Fame award.

The band precede their Brixton show with a set at the Belfast Belsonic Festival on August 17, 2010.
