Fuse Amplifies "Introducing..." Artist Program with On-Channel Support

Next Breaking Artist Lineup Includes Bruno Mars, T-Mills, Middle Class Rut and Far East Movement

MySpace Music, the premiere online music destination, announced today an integrated alliance with Fuse, Madison Square Garden's music television network, to extend the reach of MySpace's definitive emerging artist program, "Introducing..."

The alliance of MySpace Music and Fuse will enable featured artists to significantly connect with wider audiences, underscoring both media companies' commitment to serving as a launch pad for new artists.

"As a national cable network dedicated to bringing the most comprehensive music coverage of any television network, Fuse was an ideal media complement to MySpace's promotional artist efforts," said Sam Wick, SVP of MySpace Music. "Merging their on-air network reach with our online audience creates a powerful programming mix to introduce emerging talent."

As part of the alliance, Fuse and MySpace will decide the four artists who will be featured in "Introducing..." for two months on both MySpace Music and Fuse's on-air linear network.

Fuse's lineup will feature "Introducing Loaded," a 30-minute music video show, highlighting the artists in the program. In addition, Fuse will air co-branded interstitials and themed bumpers with artist video content, and "Introducing..." artists will be included on Fuse.tv, Fuse mobile and Video on Demand channels. Fuse will utilize the network's additional programming by inviting "Introducing..." artists for in-studio interviews on the network's programs such as "Hip Hop Shop" and the "Fuse Top 20 Countdown."

The co-branded experience will also live online where each "Introducing..." artist will be exposed to the MySpace Music audience through key content features including album, single and video premieres, featured playlists, behind-the-scenes footage, "getting to know you" interviews and much more, helping build a loyal fan base within the community.

The Fuse logo will live alongside MySpace Music wherever "Introducing..." is promoted throughout the MySpace network, including on the "Introducing..." landing page, in all co-branded marketing units and the MySpace Music homepage.

"The collaboration of Fuse and MySpace and both company's unique resources help introduce emerging artists and provide a platform to launch music careers," said David Weier, vp of programming. "Since the network's inception, Fuse has promoted up-and-coming artists and we feel that MySpace Music is an ideal platform to expand our reach to music fans everywhere."

MySpace Music and Fuse are eager to present the next round of emerging artists they'll be showcasing over the next eight weeks: Bruno Mars, T. Mills, Middle Class Rut and Far East Movement.

Bruno Mars - His big melodies and distinctive voice can be heard on two of the biggest hits of the year, "Nothin' On You" by B.o.B. and "Billionaire" by Travie McCoy, two of the many hit songs Bruno co-wrote and produced with his production team The Smeezingtons, and two artists MySpace Music holds near and dear. Now it's time to focus on the talented songwriter and solo artist as he gets ready for his album debut, Doo-Wops & Hooligans slated to arrive October 5th. Mars just released his first single, "Just The Way You Are" and it's already standing as a Top 3 success on iTunes' "Top Singles" chart. This fall he'll join Maroon 5 on the first leg of their "Hands All Over" Tour which kicks off October 6th in Santa Barbara, California's Santa Barbara Bowl. www.myspace.com/brunomars

T. Mills - The self proclaimed 'hip-pop' artist has already amassed an impressive following using his Internet addiction to win over fans nationwide. His music combines the energy of Alternative Rock, with rap oriented lyrical structures, melodic pop hooks and a punk rock aesthetic to deliver a unique and cutting edge sound that's fast becoming the de-facto soundtrack for today's suburban youth. Mills will be releasing his full-length debut Ready, Fire, Aim! on Uprising Records on September 28. The album features appearances from Kyle Lucas (signed to Big Boi from Outkast's label) and Breathe Carolina. Mills recently completed a summer tour with Bizzy Bone (of Bone Thugs N Harmony) and Andre Nickatina. More tour dates will be announced shortly. www.myspace.com/tmills

Middle Class Rut - Artfully blurring the line between heavy and melodic, the dynamic duo continues to showcase their skill for raw, energized rock and roll that is equally complex and immediate. The pair records every song they write together almost immediately in their rehearsal space, capturing the instantaneous spirit of a track while still in the moment. The majority of the songs have been tested on the road during tours in the U.S. with Social Distortion, Them Crooked Vultures and Alice In Chains, and in Europe with The Bronx and ...And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead. The group's two members, Sean Stockham and Zack Lopez, have been playing together since they were teenagers and are looking forward to the October 5th release of their debut album No Name Color on Bright Antenna/ILG. www.myspace.com/middleclassrut

Far East Movement - Already having to their credit two world tours, numerous song placements on television and film, and a # 1 song on Los Angeles radio all before they even dropped their debut album, Kev Nish, Prohgress, J-Splif, and DJ Virman have bridged the gap between underground party records and mainstream pop with a blend of hip hip, electro and dance music they coined as Free Wired. Their music has been heard on television hits Gossip Girl, Entourage, ABC Family's Lincoln Heights, 2009 Miss America pageant and in the blockbuster film and video game "Fast and Furious". Look out for their debut album Free Wired due out late Fall 2010. www.myspace.com/fareastmovement

Since the program launched in Fall of 2009, MySpace Music "Introducing..." alumni like Never Shout Never, Janelle Monae and Jason Derulo have all benefitted from the aggressive support with significant boosts in their fan connectivity, music downloads and sales increases.
