Russell Brand and talkSPORT to start weekly radio programme

talkSPORT the only national commercial speech station, will be reunited with Russell Brand and friends for a series of radio programmes beginning in early October 2010, going out between 9-10pm each Saturday.

Russell Brand first appeared on talkSPORT in April 2009 with Oasis legend Noel Gallagher. The series promises to see all the old favourites re united, Noel Gallagher, Matt Morgan and more, not heard since Brand's show came off Radio 2.

The programmes will be recorded in and around the UK as Russell embarks on his Booky Wooky 2 tour, as well as off stage material, listeners will be able to hear extracts from Russell on stage with the best from his Q&A sessions, and listen again on talksport.co.uk.

Moz Dee, talkSPORT programme director said, "What can I say. Russell is fantastic on the radio, and radio audiences have missed him. Our listeners are still talking about his last show with Noel, it's great that he's made a return and has chosen talkSPORT."
