This year, NPR Music's All Songs Considered reached a milestone 10 years of helping audiences discover new music.
Co-hosts Bob Boilen and Robin Hilton mark the occasion by expanding their service with the launch of the All Songs 24/7 Music Channel.
The online stream at npr.org/music/allsongs247 offers a free non-stop mix of every song ever played on the show.

The All Songs 24/7 Music Channel grew out of the enormous catalogue of music that Boilen and Hilton have amassed in 10 years of discovering new music on All Songs Considered. Boilen saved a playlist of every track ever featured - from the first song from a then-undiscovered Justin Vernon, to guest DJ sets from Radiohead's Thom Yorke or filmmaker John Waters.
By turning the archive into an online stream, NPR Music gives everyone a chance to enjoy favorite tracks any time, any day. Far from a static mix, the stream is continuously updated with material from each new show to keep it fresh for listeners.
At the All Songs Considered blog, Boilen offers his thoughts on the show's past decade of music discovery, and reposts the first ever All Songs from the first week of January, 2000.
In addition to the new mix channel, All Songs Considered is available weekly as streaming audio and for download at npr.org/allsongs, as well as a podcast and a radio broadcast.
The Emmy-nominated and Webby-winning show features roundtable discussions about new music, reviews, live concerts, artist interviews and guest DJ appearances. Bob Boilen created All Songs Considered as a Web-only program in January 2000, after receiving countless letters from listeners wanting to know more about the music that he, as director, played between stories on the NPR news magazine All Things Considered. Robin Hilton joined All Songs Considered shortly after its creation, and the program has since become one of the most popular and respected destinations to hear new music online.
