In homage to the rich tradition of "road dawg" music videos (ref. Pavement's "Range Life"), and virtually every power ballad third single released between 1986-1989, we present the brand new video for the alternate version of "Terrible Love," a bonus track from the expanded edition of The National's 'High Violet' set for November 22, 2010 release on 4AD.

Watch video:

The video, directed by Tom Berninger (brother of Matt Berninger), features tons of behind-the-scenes footage from the band's never-ending 2010 tour, including their European festival stops and their performance at a rally for President Obama in Madison, WI last month.

Other highlights from the expanded edition of 'High Violet' include two new previously unreleased tracks, b-sides and live recordings.
