The Squatters release "Superfly" single + remixes - watch video

Champion Records are proud to introduce their next 2010 release in the form of heavy duty Dutch and Electro House Producers The Squatters.

The Squatters - Superfly

This awesome duo (Alex Powell and Oliver Portamento) have already stamped a massive Squatters imprint on today's ground breaking dance scene with glitchy beats and breaks followed by their signature top synth sequences, not forgetting their crowd erupting bass lines...just ask Kissy Sellout who is currently supporting the boys - who by the way also feature as guest DJs on his San City High Tour.

Champion's first Squatters release, rightly titled "Superfly", is exactly that, a Superfly and fresh take on Dutch styled House featuring the lyrical talents of MC Dutch Courage whose vocals get the full Squatters treatment, an overloaded "Vocal Chopping Master Class" - effectively turning the vocal lines into rhythmic percussion hits and bends in true Squatters style! "Superfly" is set for release November 15, 2010.

This is also an element of the track that has been taken to the extremes on the remixes by:

Will Bailey - Famously known as one half of Twocker, Will (a massive player in the Fidget/Wonk and Dutch scenes, and the man behind Simma Records) throws the Squatters a spin cycle of madness by dropping not 2 but 3 different beats in one remix, keeping all DJs and dancefloor patrollers guessing throughout the duration of the track!

Aniki - Responsible for underground chart topping material such as "Feel Good" and no stranger to Champion Records (watch out for his remix of Chubb Rock coming real soon) Aniki once again takes things towards another dimension and provides us with a twitching Electro piece grooving in the underbelly of a minimalist sequence of electronic delight!

Little Bastard and Zubagroove - This will make any Tech House DJ go STOOPID! as "Little Bastard" (Little by name but most certainly not by nature) and Zubagroove (famously known as Tod from Stupid Fresh) team up to bring you the future revelation of bumpy quirky Tech House at it's best with heads, shoulder knees and toes bopping in full sync - start to finish!

DJ Support from: Plump DJs, Ali B, Dooze Jackers, MJ Cole, Plaza De Funk, Ant Nichols, Peo De Pitte, Twisted Twins, High Eight, Funkystepz, Utah Saints, Lee Mortimer, Nick Thayer, N-Manuel, Mas, Praiz, and more!

Radio Support to date from: Select-UK Radio, Rinse FM and more!
