Their signature brooding atmospherics lean out and grab you into a pop-song with an edge so dark it proves a fitting and almost mythical soundscape for these long dark winter evenings.

Live: To celebrate the launch of the single, Bleeding Heart Narrative will be playing a special show at London's Union Chapel on Saturday 11 December 2010 as part of the hugely respected Daylight Music Sessions by Arctic Circle. It's a free lunchtime event between 12pm and 2pm, and at this one-off gig the regular 7-piece band will feature an additional string section - not to be missed. More info at Daylight Music.

Remixes: The single package features remixes from London-based producer/ musician/DJ Ali Renault (one half of 'Heartbreak'); Neverest Songs' Margate- based Luke Twyman, whose debut album 'Small Voyages' came out on Unlabel earlier this year and Mat Riviere (Brainlove Records).

Perun was released as a digital download on 6 December 2010. The title track is currently available as a free download, while the single can be purchased digitally in a package including three remixes and an additional exclusive track, Starting With The Universe.

Bleeding Heart Narrative, led by songwriter Oliver Barrett, released the debut album 'all that was missing we never had in the world' in March 2008 on Tartaruga Records. The original limited edition version quickly sold out having garnered praise from various quarters. The EP 'This Octopus Is Going to Eat Your Face' was made available as a free download on Distance Recordings in April 2009, and the collaborative 8-track EP Wire and String with Gosia Winter was released in August 2009 on Tartaruga.

Tongue Tangled Hair, the second album from Bleeding Heart Narrative was released in September 2009, picking up Album of the Week on Norman Records, and positive reviews across the board.
