This is just one more accolade to add to the list of accomplishments achieved by the duo this year.

Back in September the band was included as part of MySpace "Introducing..." a selective monthly program with FUSE. Their first single "New Low" is currently in the Top 20 on the Alternative chart as well as being a part of MTV's Discover & Download program.

The "New Low" video has been added to rotation at MTV2 and mtvU. It will also be included in MTV "Push" Promotions during prime time beginning January 3rd. The band also recently performed on Fuel TV's The Daily Habit.

The debut album No Name No Color was released on October 5th on Bright Antenna Records through Warner Music Group's Independent Label Group. It is compiled of 12 songs showcasing a breadth of time without ever losing its clear impression of cohesion. A few tracks have appeared previously on the band's three EPs, which they released in 2007, 2008 and 2009, but the album as a whole is a new construction that reveals a band with a unique creative process. The majority of the songs have been tested on the road during tours in the U.S. with Social Distortion, Them Crooked Vultures and Alice In Chains, and will continue when the band heads out again at the top of next year, this time with 30 Seconds To Mars.

"…sound like Jane's Addiction having a panic attack." - NME

"Until this debut full-length from Middle Class Rut, the only hype that had really stuck to the Sacramento pair concerned numerical values. Specifically, were they the two-headed heroes the rock press had so longingly hoped for since pace-setting Canadian duo Death From Above 1979 acrimoniously split in 2006? Pleasingly, No Name No Color is driven by a combative mood more than fit to challenge lazy parallels." - BBC
