Plant's version of the track - originally written and performed by the late, great country folker Townes Van Zandt (1944-1997) - is a driving, plaintive slice of Southern soul, featuring backing vocals from Patty Griffin.

A digital bundle with a live version of "Harm's Swift Way" and 'Band of Joy' album track, Low's "Monkey" - both taken from Plant's show at London's Forum last autumn - will be available.

Robert Plant has just received a nomination in the Best Male Solo Artist category for the 2011 BRIT Awards and is currently on a grand tour of the United States.

He recently played two scorching nights at New York's Beacon Theatre, of which the NY Times said in their live review:

"When Led Zeppelin was in full cry, it hinted at realms of ecstasy and madness just past the edge of the music. Band of Joy, with very different musical foundations, can do the same thing."

'Band Of Joy' was recorded in Nashville with a stellar cast of musicians: Patty Griffin, vocals; Darrell Scott, multi instrumentalist/vocals; Byron House, bass/vocals; Marco Giovino, drums and percussion/vocals, and co-producer Buddy Miller, guitar/vocals.

The album has also been nominated for two Grammy Awards ('Best Americana Album' and 'Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance') at this year's Awards.
