Ny ft. Giggs "Be With You" + to support N-Dubz on tour - April dates

Ny ft. Giggs "Be With You" set for release 8th May 2011 on Dream Juice Music

Singer Ny

22 year old UK singer-songwriter Nyomi Gray, known as Ny, is set to make big waves this Spring with her first official single release "Be With You" featuring Giggs.

A firm fixture on the urban circuit for quite some time, Ny has featured on records by The Streets, Tinchy Stryder and DJ Ironik to name a few and recently sang backing vocals for award-winning artist Plan B on tour.

Ny, who hails from Kentish Town, had been very proactive in developing her talent from a young age. Fiercely independent and incredibly driven, Ny frequently entered in local talent shows and then moved on to gaining experience with Under 18's rave company Bigger Fish, where she started working as a stage manager and performer from the tender age of 15.

Rapidly gaining popularity and respect for her genuine talent, impressive live stage presence and song writing skills, Ny set about recording her first mixtape Split Endz Vol 1. This saw features from all the top names on the scene including Professor Green, Plan B, JME and Ghetts. Well received, the mixtape independently sold a couple thousand copies and solidified a good fan base for Ny and created a demand for Split Endz Vol 2.

With few female singers on the grime scene and Ny's ever growing buzz, RWD championed her as the "lady of RnG" and in 2010 she was nominated for a UMA (Urban Music Award).

Fast-forward to 2011 and Ny is soon to crossover in a major way by releasing her official debut single "Be With You" and it doesn't disappoint!

Featuring Giggs and produced by Davinche the track provides all the components for a sure fire smash.

With Chris Moyles recently playing it and strong support from Trevor Nelson, the debut single is already B list at Radio 1Xtra and gains regular spins at Kiss.

A refreshing RnB track packed with strong vocals from Ny and a gritty edge can be found in Giggs' feature. The debut single reflects Ny's versatile vocals; and gives you a taste of what's to come from her album which will illustrate her evolution as an artist.

After featuring on her close friends N-Dubz new multi-platinum selling album Love.Live.Life, Ny is about to embark on a nationwide tour with them (see dates below) ahead of her single release showing that there is a lot more to come from her this year.
