Now in its 18th year, Race for Life is the UK's largest women-only fundraising event, with 300 events taking place from April until the end of July. Women of all ages and fitness levels across the UK come together at these inspiring events to simply walk, jog or run 5k to raise money to help beat cancer.
And this year girls across the UK will be able to get fit, get motivated, raise extra money and feel good as they run to the Race for Life Official Soundtrack 2011.
The 2CD compilation features some of the biggest recent hits including the number one single "Beat Again" by JLS, "Heartbeat" by Scouting For Girls, together with some classics including "The Final Countdown" by Europe and "(I've Had) The Time Of My Life" by Billy Medley and Jennifer Warners.
50p from the sale of each album will go towards Cancer Research UK Trading Limited, which gives its taxable profits to Cancer Research UK (registered charity no. 1089464).
The album will be available to buy exclusively from Tesco Stores from the 23rd May, 2011. And it is available digitally from iTunes and other online stores.

Some of the women take part in celebration of surviving a cancer experience. Others take part in memory of a loved one or to give hope to a cancer-free future. But all of them share a common goal: to raise money for Cancer Research UK's groundbreaking work to beat cancer.
