Introducing Mark Ellis and his EP 'Paper Heart'.

This is the first release from Cambridge's acclaimed and prolific singer songwriter, a collection of perfectly penned pop songs that will leave you tapping your feet and humming all day long.

Mark has been performing in bands and writing songs for many years. Along the way he has written and performed alongside artists such as Athlete, Boo Hewerdine, Kim Richey, and Eddi Reader. Influences include The Beatles, Weezer, The Killers, Oasis and many more with a real appetite for variety in his writing.

This release is Mark's first since leaving the band Hamfatter who to some are known as "the band from Dragons Den". This experience had its ups and downs but Mark has always felt grateful for the experience and for the lessons he has learned. Had it not been for this, Mark would never have had met great people like Boo Hewerdine who taught him so much about the art of song writing but also gave him the confidence to move on.
