New Teddy Thompson single "Delilah" out July 11th and UK tour kicks off this Friday!
Famed songwriter and hopeless romantic Teddy Thompson releases his brand new single "Delilah", on Verve Forecast/Universal Music, with an impact date of July 11th.
A straight up love song if ever there was one, "Delilah" marries the forward-thinking production values of David Kahne (Regina Spektor, Paul McCartney, The Strokes) with Thompson's aptitude for classic songwriting.
Teddy's velvety smooth contemplations are wrapped around delicate string arrangements, but a polished country feel holds the track together. As we join the singer on his emotional trajectory, painful lyrics paint a vivid picture of heartache.
"I was a fool to let you go/I think about you every day and I'm sorry for the things I said," sings the lovelorn lothario, wracked with guilt.
