Country music superstar Alan Jackson releases "Long Way To Go," the debut single from the joint venture between EMI Records Nashville and ACR (Alan's Country Records).

The single shipped to country radio June 13 but there is already buzz about "Long Way To Go" after Alan and EMI previewed the new single for radio programmers at an event in Nashville last week.

"Seems like every time you turn around lately there's just something heavy going on in the world, so I felt like singing something that was kind of light and fun," explains Jackson. "I hope some people like it."

Alan penned the song which is the first single from his new studio album to be released this fall.

"He's back! Pure AJ. Great lyrics and this one cooks!" - Deb Turpin, PD, KSOP, Salt Lake City, UT
