Blondie Announces Exclusive Partnership with Amazon for Panic of Girls, Out September 13th
Set to Perform on The Today Show September 12th and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno October 6th
North American Fall Tour Kicks off September 3rd!
Blondie has announced that Amazon will be the exclusive physical and online retailer for their new album Panic of Girls, set for release on September 13, 2011.
The band's 9th studio effort has already received early critical praise and is one of the most highly anticipated albums of the Fall among the likes of Harper's Bazaar, Elle, Marie Claire, New York Times, USA Today and Entertainment Weekly.
First single "Mother," a nod to the legendary West 14th Street night club of the same name, has been instantly embraced by fans.

With an impressive new collection of songs and a sound more recognizable than ever, Debbie Harry, Clem Burke and Chris Stein, along with newer band members Leigh Foxx, Tommy Kessler and Matt Katz-Bohen, will kick off their North American Fall tour on September 3rd.
The band will bring the incredible new tracks and the hits from their storied four-decade career to crowds from coast to coast before wrapping on October 9th.
Amidst the tour, Blondie will be making two very special national TV appearances.
On September 12th, the band will kick off their album release week with a performance on The Today Show on NBC, ahead of two intimate album release shows at NYC's Highline Ballroom on September 12th and 13th.
On October 6th, Blondie will play The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on NBC, one day after their October 5th LA show at Club Nokia.
Panic of Girls, colored with inspirations from New York City's roiling melting pot and street-level pop culture, features new wave dance gems, songs sung in French and Spanish and even a reggae cover threaded together with a timeless pop sheen.
Blondie was inducted into the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame in 2006 and has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide.
