Dead Jerichos - 'Please Yourself' EP out 12th December, 2011 via Bandcamp

Oxford band Dead Jerichos are Craig Evans (guitar + vocals), Sahm Amirsedghi (bass), Leo Rayner (drums).

Dead Jerichos formed after Craig was asked to play a gig at a biker pub in his home village of Drayton and he coerced long time friends Leo and Sahm to back him up.

In a short space of time they have gone from such humble beginnings to Playing Underage Festival (on the main stage straight after Ellie Goulding), Truck, OX4, Equitruck.

They have landed support slots with other hot young things such as Egyptian Hip Hop, Nine Black Alps, Flats, Brother, Funeral Party, Fixers and many more. They are now firmly poised as one of THE hotly tipped bands on the Oxford music scene. They have been on the covers of highly influential Oxford music magazines Nightshift and Oxfordshire Music Scene. They have also appeared live on BBC Oxford Introducing to rapturous praise.

Remixes are by legendary Dub soundsystem Dubwiser and Oxford based ambient electronica ensemble Message To Bears. The EP was recorded by hot of the minute producer Rory Brattwell. Rory's solo Warm Brains project is setting the world alight right now.
