The 21-year-old will join Rick Ross' team that includes Meek Mill, Wale and Omarion.
"This is a monumental moment for me, and I'm thankful for the opportunity to be a part of Maybach Music Group" exclaims Rockie. "It feels great joining such a strong lineup of artists that I respect, and I'm ready to make history. God Is Great. MMG!"

Rockie Fresh - "Electric Highway" Tour Trailer - video:
Rockie started his rap career in 2009 when he finished his debut mixtape Rockie's Modern Life at a small recording studio close to his hometown in the South Side of Chicago. He followed with 2010's The Otherside mixtape that was voted 4.6 out of 5 stars by visitors on mixtape site DJBooth. Earlier this year, Rockie released his latest mixtape project Driving 88 that received tremendous critical acclaim from media outlets including Complex Magazine, that said "Driving 88 is sure to establish Rockie as a force to be reckoned with" and XXL Magazine praises "From its first song to its last, the project [Driving 88] has a smooth energy" and VIBE Magazine declared "[Rockie] Fresh's career is accelerating at high speeds and he has no intention of slowing down."
Rockie approaches his music with an alternative rock mentality that's been noticed by both major labels and recording artists including Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy. After seeing Rockie perform at the 2011 Bamboozle Festival in New Jersey, Stump asked Rockie to support as the opening act on a 40-plus city national tour.
After being introduced to multi-platinum selling Benji and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte, the Madden brothers began working with Rockie and featured him on their mixtape project released October 2011 called Before The Fame: The Madden Brothers.
Rockie announced on MTV earlier this month that he's finishing work on his next mixtape project, Electric Highway, that will contain all original music. He's aiming to release Electric Highway while on his national tour this Fall.
