Stars premiere new track from upcoming release The North + tour dates

Stars have premiered the track "Hold On When You Get Love and Let Go When You Give it" from their highly anticipated album The North, out September 4 via ATO Records (stream link below).

The band recently announced their fall North American tour. Diamond Rings and California Wives have been confirmed to open the shows from the September 20 tour opener in Portland, ME until the October 20 show in San Francisco. Fans who purchase tickets for any of the US headlining shows will receive a digital copy of the album on release day and an instant download of "The Theory of Relativity" (please go to the band's official website for more details). Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased from the band's website where there are also a variety of album bundles. The album is also available for pre-order on iTunes.

The North was recorded in Montreal's historic RCA Victor Studios and was produced by Stars, Graham Lessard and Marcus Paquin (Arcade Fire). Stars shared the first album track "The Theory of Relativity" last month, which is still available as a free download via their website.
