Vancouver, BC quartet Yukon Blonde has debuted a new video for single "My Girl," taken from its sophomore Tiger Talk LP via Dine Alone (Tokyo Police Club, Neon Indian, City And Colour).
Director Kelsey Larkin says, "The concept with this video was to create a short film in a sense; 'My Girl' being its soundtrack. With long, drawn out and uncomfortable camera movements, we see inside the head space of a broken girl as she tries to find normalcy through a breakup, only to witness her undoing over the course of an evening." Larkin explains that the concept completely "juxtapositions the upbeat, loving lyrics that it's paired to."

Yukon Blonde supported Tiger Talk this fall on a North American tour with The Jezabels, following a world tour, and performances at SXSW.
Produced by Colin Stewart (Black Mountain, Ladyhawk), Tiger Talk gives way to a raw, guitar-driven sound, as the band trimmed the fat and packed hooks and brisk tempos into streamlined arrangements. The album follows the band's Fire//Water EP released last fall.
The EP's lead single "Fire" was featured on an episode of ABC's Revenge shortly after the the TV show How I Met Your Mother made a reference to the group.
