THE NAKED STILLS ANNOUNCE DEBUT RELEASE COCHECHO
Boston, Massachusetts-based independent band The Naked Stills is proud to announce their debut full-length album: Cochecho, available online now.
The band's first full-length is comprised of 12 songs, engineered by Christopher Chase of 1130ft Creative Media in Rollinsford, N.H. and mixed by Brian Packer.
"We couldn't be happier with the writing and production of Cochecho," says vocalist and rhythm guitarist Rocco DeRosa. "After playing Earthfest two years ago, things ramped up for the band and we couldn't have anticipated the amount of interest we received. It was truly humbling. After a year of pushing our self-titled EP, we were excited to pull back the reins to get to work on our first full-length with Christopher. Having his expertise at our disposal enabled us to have an enjoyable, educational experience in addition to pushing the music and ourselves to places we might not have gone in another setting."
"Working with the Naked Stills on their debut full length was a very rewarding process for me," says Chase. "From the onset the band was committed to the true art of recording. There was no 'fix it in the mix' mentality on any of these songs, or throughout the whole project. We focused on the best band and personal performances for each and every song. I think the end result really reflects that attention."
The Naked Stills formed in early 2009 and features members Ryan Callahan (Bass, Vocals), Rocco DeRosa (Lead vocals, Rhythm guitar), Daniel King (Lead guitar, Lap steel, Vocals) and Doug Standley (Drums).
Since their formation, The Naked Stills have won the Radio 92.9 (WBOS) Earthfest contest and shared the stage with Sponge, Ed Kowalczyk (Live), Atomic Tom, OK Go and more. The Naked Stills have also collaborated with Sara Bareilles guitarist Javier Dunn.
