Adam Green & Binki Shapiro have confirmed their first US tour.

The talented musical pair recently sold out their debut performance at Manhattan's (Le) Poisson Rouge before crossing the pond to play to packed venues in France, Germany, Holland and England. Those short run of dates served as an introduction to the beguiling debut album Adam Green & Binki Shapiro due out on January 29th 2013 on Rounder/ Concord.

The duo, who perform with a full band, will be making stops in Los Angeles, Santa Ana, Santa Cruz, Santa Barbara, San Francisco and Portland. Two of the shows are with Father John Misty.

Adam Green & Binki Shapiro is deceptively pretty, filled with the echo of late-sixties folk-pop and an easygoing rapport between two captivating singers. These songs have twists and turns that reveal more with repeat listens, as their protagonists unfurl relationship tales with bittersweet recall.

Adam Green first came to prominence as one-half of the Grammy-winning Moldy Peaches before embarking on a successful and prolific solo career. Recent months have seen him add 'filmmaker' and 'visual artist' to his list of accomplishments.

Binki Shapiro was one-third of Little Joy, the Brazilian-accented Los Angeles trio formed with Fabrizio Moretti and Rodrigo Amarante that enchanted listeners with its critically acclaimed 2008 album.
